Past President William Kirkpatrick welcomed ladies and gents teams from Kilbirnie, Beith, Glengarnock, Saltcoats, Kilwinning, Millport, Ardrossan, Largs Hawkshill and Paisley Wellmeadow to the Friendship Game.

He then invited Secretary Marella O’Neill to explain the programme for the day and the format of the game which had to be amended slightly due to the non-arrival of teams from West Kilbride and Girdle Toll.

Before the games got underway Hannah Miller and Valerie Corrigan on behalf of Saltcoats BC Ladies Section, presented a wall clock and hand crafted card to Dalry’s Ladies President Amanda McCall in recognition of the club’s 150th Anniversary.

In the first session it was Dalry Ladies against the Guest Ladies and similarly with the Gents. The second session was mixed teams and in the final session it was Ladies versus Gents.

With all games completed it was back to the clubhouse to enjoy a two course meal complete with wine courtesy of the club and after which the raffle, which raised £176, was drawn.
