A MAN will find out his fate later this month after he was found guilty of assaulting a teenage girl in Kilbirnie. Robert Boyes, 31, of Linwood, denied two assault charges and one of threatening behaviour but was found guilty at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week. He will be sentenced on February 23 for assaulting a 13-year-old by striking her on the head and punching her to the body. He will also be sentenced on the charge of assaulting a woman by seizing her by the hair and repeatedly punching her on the head and body. Finally, Boyes was found guilty of threatening behaviour by shouting and swearing. The court heard that all three offences took place in Kilbirnie in November of last year.
