KILWINNING ultra athlete Michael Kirkum has completed his latest gruelling challenge.
The big-hearted marathon man incredibly walked the 117km Great Glens Way between Inverness and Fort William between April 16-17.
Michael, who has raised thousands for charity over the last 25-plus years, set a target of £1,000 to buy defibrillators for Kilwinning Sports Club.
Defibrillators are used to prevent life threatening cardiac arrests or heart attacks. Michael is still calculating the total of his fundraising.
