Promoting Kilwinning have chosen Saturday May 27 to celebrate this year’s 50th anniversary of the Crowning of the Segdoune Royal.
Plans are being made to make the day a very special event for the town. If you have any suggestions or ideas on how to make this year’s carnival extra special please go to our Facebook page - Promoting Kilwinning or contact joe@broussard.co.uk, call 552284.
The decision has been made to have a parade similar to last’s years event so all the groups who participated last year’s parade should get in touch. This year, the organisers would also like to include some floats.
They would also like to have something special for all the past Segdoune queens, princesses and princes so any good ideas will be considered. They have some information on previous Royal parties but will need help contacting all of them.
If you have information please get in touch, as should those who wish to have stalls during the carnival.
