A WOMAN has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after admitting to stealing scratch cards from an RS McColl in Kilwinning.
Lyndsay Brown, 29, of Kilwinning’s Montgomerie Terrace, pled guilty to one charge of Theft by Shoplifting at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Brown stole a quantity of scratch cards from the store on the town’s Main Street on January 14.
She was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within three months as a direct alternative to a custodial sentence.
