A Kilwinning woman has admitted repeatedly kicking a police officer before spitting in their face.
Sara Chesterson, of Garrallan, Kilwinning, pled guilty to two assault charges when she appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week (Tuesday, February 6).
Not guilty pleas to three other charges were accepted by the court.
On June 22 last year at Garrallan, 22-yearold Chesterson admitted assaulting a police constable while in execution of her duties, by repeatedly kicking her on the body.
On the same date Chesterson also spat on the constable’s face while at Saltcoats Police Station.
Sentence was deferred for reports, and bail was continued.
She will also have to pay a compensation requirement of £100.
