AYRSHIRE College is encouraging its staff, students and community to keep active every day.
Scotland is bidding to become the first Daily Mile nation – and Ayrshire College has quickly signed up to the cause.
The Daily Mile is a Scottish Government initiative which encourages people to walk, jog or run a mile every day.
Walking a mile is an easily achievable target, taking on average around 15 minutes to complete.
Ayrshire College is making it easy for people to reach their goal by mapping out a mile-long route for public use, and organising walking groups every Wednesday for people to meet new people on their walks.
Every main college campus has established a Daily Mile route starting from the front doors and taking in the beautiful scenery of Ayr, Kilmarnock and Kilwinning.
Ayrshire College has encouraged its students and staff to take on the Daily Mile challenge during National Walking Month.
