KILWINNING Labour councillor Joe Cullinane says changes to the number 27 bus timetable are yet another example of why local services desperately need better regulation.

The service - the only one for Whitehirst Park - has been cut, with its frequency being reduced from every half hour, with no buses between 12noon and 1.45pm.

The bus service also goes through the town's Coreshill area.
