A teenage girl missing since Sunday afternoon may have got into a van when she disappeared, police have said.

Diana Rezmives was last seen on Hinshaw Street in Maryhill, Glasgow, on Sunday at 4.15pm.

Police trying to locate the 15-year-old have found in their inquiries she may have got into a red Volkswagen van, registration SF53 RLU.

Officers are now appealing for information on the whereabouts of the teenager and the vehicle.

Inspector Donald Stewart said: “Despite extensive inquiries being carried out, we have been unable to locate Diana.

“We are continuing to check CCTV footage for any additional information which could help us trace her.

“She is only 15 and we just want to know she is safe and well.

“I would appeal to anyone who has seen Diana or had any information as to where she could be to contact us”.

Diana is white, around 5ft 4in, with a slim build and blue eyes.

She has long dyed blonde hair and when last seen was wearing a navy blue body warmer with a cream jumper underneath, blue jeans and red velvet styled training shoes trimmed with fur.

Anyone with information is asked to call officers at Maryhill Police Station via 101.
