Family tree research led to archive

LIKE a lot of other people in recent years, Ardrossan"s Danny Mathieson has just completed his family tree, one aspect of which was discovering more about his relations who gave their lives in both World Wars.

Now Danny has compiled a new online publication showing where these commemorations or burials are located. The article also provides information on whether the servicemen are listed on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website. If they are, then you can download a certificate about the person and the memorial or cemetery free of charge. Seventy-four of the names are listed.
