Court hears of violence

A nurse from Gateside near Beith who admitted assaulting elderly patients in her care was labelled 'a witch' by one of her victims.

Cruel Margaret Richmond (54) admitted slapping an 86-year-old in the face and assaulting an 88-year-old by pulling her ear at Westlea Care Home in Neilston.

Sentence was deferred until February for reports.
