Craig is starman

Print | Email

MIDFIELD dynamo Craig Bryson won the second Ayrshire Weekly Press starman award for Kilmarnock FC after a string of outstanding displays in 2009-10 which went a long way towards assuring the Rugby Park club's SPL status.

Now the 23-year-old insists the target for the coming campaign is to push for a top six spot following two nerve-shredding seasons in the bottom six and shrugged off press speculation that he could be moving on with Hearts rumoured to be interested in him.

Bryson, who finished with 32 points in our player performance ratings, six clear of nearest rival Jamie Hamill, won another five player-of-the-season awards in his best run of form in three seasons at Killie.
