Isa donates 90th gifts to hospital
A GENEROUS nonogenarian from Dalry used the ocassion of her recent birthday to raise hundreds of pounds for a hospital ward in Crosshouse.
Isa Lammie from Dalry celebrated her 90th birthday on February 5 and, instead of receiving presents, she decided to ask her relatives and friends to make a donation to Crosshouse's haematology ward she visits once a month for a blood transfusion.
Her kind gesture managed to raise an amazing £550. Isa said: "I would like to thank all my friends and relatives who donated money and helped me raise so much money for a worthwhile cause."
