FORMER Conservative Party members who quit the Tories over the Philip Lardner affair have stirred up trouble in the run-up to the Holyrood elections by claiming that candidate Maurice Golden's selection process was 'illegal'.

"Mr Golden was not selected as per the Party constitution," Dalry man John Smith said.
