NAC back plans for £53m superschool

THE Council's Education Executive this week formally backed plans to base Garnock Academy, Moorpark Primary and Glengarnock Primary in a new £53 million-superschool with Garnock Pool and assorted leisure facilities also on-campus.
The decision to move the venture to North Lochshore, Kilbirnie follows a consultation period during which several public meetings were held and soundings taken from parents, teachers, pupils, residents, community councils and so on.
