Airline issues scam warning

RYANAIR have issued a public warning this week after a West Kilbride woman received a letter claiming she had won a £24,500 car whilst on board one of their flights.

The local woman, who does not wish to be named, contacted the Herald after receiving the letter which carried Ryanair's logo. The pensioner became suspicious when she made a pricey phonecall to a number in Spain listed on the dubious letter.
