Uncertain future for care homes

RESIDENTS in three North Ayrshire care homes owned by struggling private provider Southern Cross face an uncertain future as the company continues crisis talks.

The Three Towns Care Home in Stevenston, Spiers Care Home in Beith and Moorpark Place Care Home in Kilbirnie are all owned by the company who recently announced a massive £311m loss in the six months leading up to March 31.
