Big brother star will play DJ dance set
KILWINNING'S blind Big Brother TV star Mikey Hughes is set to transform himself into a superstar DJ - by spinning a hardcore dance set at a massive gig.
Mikey, already a presenter on specialist station Insight FM, has been booked as a headline DJ for the Masters Of Hardcore World Tour at The Arches in Glasgow.
The former St Michael's Academy pupil, who lost his sight completely following an operation in 1998, said he hopes the event helps him make the transition to being a club DJ.
