ADAM CLOSER THAN EVER TO £50,000 CONTRACT
Singer Adam in national final
BEITH bricklayer Adam Smith is set to storm London's o2 Arena in the hope of winning a £50,000 recording contract.
The 23-year-old has progressed to the final stages of this year's Live And Unsigned - the UK's largest national music competition for original, unsigned solo acts and bands.
"I've been practicing every night and I think I'm sounding good," said Adam, who plans to play a medley of Pink Floyd's On The Turning Away and his own composition Going Out My Head at the huge London venue.
