Citizens' Advice U-turn

KILBIRNIE Citizens' Advice Bureau has been reprieved - with some sort of service for the Garnock Valley likely to be secured for the future.

As we reported recently, staff at the CAB protested angrily after North Ayrshire Citizens' Advice Service announced that the Garnock Facility was being closed.

After the intervention of a Valley Councillor and the local MSP, NACAS say 'strength of feeling' has led them to reconsider.
