Fan hostility forces ban, say Juniors bosses

FOOTBALL fans in the Garnock Valley have been rocked by the news that the derby games between Beith Juniors and Kilbirnie Ladeside will be played behind closed doors this season.

The SJFA have prohibited both clubs from hosting either fixture at their home grounds and will now play at a neutral ground with no public admission. The teams say the behaviour of a minority has brought shame on both of them.
