IT'S proving to be a busy November at Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue Centre, with six new patients being brought in in a single day last week.

Hessilhead, near Beith, has been running for more than 25 years and became a registered charity in 1986.

Owners Gay and Andy Christie aim to rescue, treat, rehabilitate and release birds and animals back into the wild, and have facilities and experience to treat all species of Scottish wildlife.
