WEATHER CAUESD CHAOS EVERYWHERE

FLOODS swept through North Ayrshire yesterday resulting in road closures and traffic chaos.

The deluge put the emergency services to action as Strathclyde Police monitored the closure of A737 in Dalry and Main Street in West Kilbride while Strathclyde Fire and Rescue battled to prevent flood waters entering residential homes.

The River Garnock burst it's banks and a driver at Dalgarven Mill was forced to abandon her car.
