IT'S A LOT OF RUBBISH

THREE Towns residents claim streets are becoming increasingly littered with rubbish and they are calling for improvements to cleaning services.

However, a spokesman from NAC claimed that after a review of the system last year there has been a greater concentration on cleaning towns centres and that the system runs more 'efficiently and effectively' with the cooperation from members of the public.

A Stevenston resident, who did not wish to be named, said she has noticed a concentration of rubbish at the bus stops surrounding her residential street and she is tired of having to phone to have it removed.
