THE B777 Beith to Lugton road will be closed between Monday, March 5 and Friday, March 23 to allow for important resurfacing work.

The road will be closed during work in order to ensure the safety of workers and drivers. There will be access for residents living along the road, say NAC.

During the closure, most vehicles will be able to use the B706 through Barrmill.

Vehicles over 13 feet in height will be diverted via the B777 Glengarnock, Kirkland Road and Dalry Road in Kilbirnie, the B780 Kilbirnie to Dalry Road, Roche Way, Dalry, through the A737 Dalry to Kilwinning road, Howgate, Lauchlan Way, Main Street, Bridgend Lane, Kilwinning and the B778 Old Glasgow Road onto the A736.

North Ayrshire Council say they would like to apologise for any disruption these essential works will cause.
