REMEMBERING THE HMS DASHER TRAGEDY

The community remember the dead of HMS Dasher this weekend in what has now become the traditional manner, when the Arran ferry will stop over the spot where the aircraft carrier went down for a wreath laying ceremony.

Events begin with a social hosted at TS Gannet by Chief Petty Officer John McDonald for HMS Dasher (1943) and the Royal British Legion Scotland's branch.
