FIND OUT WHEN OLYMPIC FLAME WILL BE IN YOUR TOWN
The communities of Beith and Barrmill will be the centre of attention when the Olympic flame arrives in North Ayrshire this summer - and a Saltcoats and Stevenston councillor will actually be taking part.
The flame will be carried by a number of torchbearers as it passes through Barrmill and the centre of Beith on Friday, June 8.
North Ayrshire Council are working with community groups and schools across the area to organise events to mark the day and a number of visitors from neighbouring towns are expected to attend.
