Offices in Kilbirnie and Arran forced to shut down

THE Citizens' Advice Service are closing their Arran, Kilbirnie and Largs offices because of council cutbacks.

Work will now centre on their bureaux at Saltcoats and Irvine.

The organisation say that in February they received notification from NAC that their 2012/13 funding would be £175,000 - down from £192,000 - with a further £5,000 fall for the next two years, leaving them with less money but an ever-increasing number of clients.
