Claims a cafe is disrupting graves

DECKING for a new cafe at the Barony Centre in West Kilbride has been criticised by a councillor for disrupting a neighbouring gravesite.

Independent Councillor Elizabeth McLardy said she has been 'inundated' with calls complaining about the patio-style decking which was erected as part of the cafe last week.

She said: "I have been inundated with calls about it. They have built the deck over some of the graves - it's shocking."
