LESS UNEMPLOYMENT IN MONTH OF MARCH

UNEMPLOYMENT figures for March 2012 show there is 75 less people claiming Jobseekers Allowance compared to the previous month in Central Ayrshire, says MP Brian Donohoe.

Central Ayrshire MP Mr Donohoe said: "According to official figures, unemployment in Scotland dropped by 12,000 to 219,000 in the three months to February."

The number of unemployed claimants for March in Central Ayrshire was 2,835, with 75 less people claiming benefits than in February 2012.
