THE gates of West Kilbride's Barony Centre opened yesterday to welcome guests to a private preview of the building's first major exhibition Lab Craft.

Politicians, sponsors, members of the West Kilbride Community Initiative Ltd (WKCIL) and invited guests attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and explored the fully refurbished former church and featured exhibits.

The Crafts Council exhibition 'Lab Craft: Digital Adventures in Contemporary Craft' explores the relationship between craft work and digital technology through a variety of materials from jewellery to ceramic pots.
