TEENS' SUCCESS IN KNIFE CRIME FIGHT

SHARP teenagers from Ardrossan Academy won an anti-knife crime art contest this week.

The five students came out top in the No Knives Better Lives competition which attracted 140 entrants from secondary school across North Ayrshire.

The team of 13-year-olds - Stephen Wallace, Ross Pellegrini, David McGarrity, Scott McIntosh and Jamie McCann - will now represent the region in the national final with the winner being selected through an online poll.
