IT is big smiles all round for NHS Ayrshire & Arran's Oral Health Promotion team as they collect the 'Best National Smile Month Event' at the Dental Awards ceremony in London.

The team were presented with their accolade for their contribution to the 'Smile Factor' campaign after they held a talent contest in Kilbirnie with an oral health theme.

Hazel Andrew, Senior Oral Health Promoter for NHS Ayrshire & Arran, said they were 'delighted' to have won the award on Friday, April 20. She added: "We were honoured to represent the team at such a prestigious event and have our hard work recognised nationally.
