CANCER SUPPORT IN SALTCOATS

NORTH Ayrshire residents living with cancer now have quick and easy access to cancer support services following the recent launch of Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service in Saltcoats.

The service was formally launched in Saltcoats Library in May by John Burns, Chief Executive of NHS Ayrshire & Arran. He said: "I am delighted and honoured to launch the North Ayrshire Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service.

"The service offers anyone affected by cancer access to good quality information and support, and welcomes visitors with a friendly smile and a listening ear."
