SUPER SATURDAY FUN DAY
THIS Saturday at Eglinton Park there will be a family fun day to help raise funds for the Alfie Sharpe Appeal.
The teddy bear picnic will begin at 12noon on June 23 with entertainment being held through until the event finishes at 4pm.
There will be inflatables, music, face painting, a fortune teller, sports day games, parachute games, arts and crafts, a raffle, stalls and event a sponsered wax. Peppa Pig and George Pig will also be on hand to entertain the youngsters.
Entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children and everyone is welcome. All proceeds go to the appeal.
Five-year-old Alfie has neuroblastoma and his parents Cheree and Steven are trying to raise £80,000 to send him to Germany for pioneering treatment they hope will save his life.
