ACCIDENT SPOT ROAD WILL CLOSE FOR REPAIRS

A ROAD in Arran will be closed for essential repairs to take place following a recent road traffic accident, say North Ayrshire Council.

The U87 Machrie Moor Road is to be closed between the B880 The String Road and C147 at Machrie from Wednesday, August 29 to Friday, August 31 from 9am to 3.30 pm.

This is to enable the local authority to carry out urgent carriageway and verge repair works.
