THE Lochwinnoch branch of the RBS will close down on November 11 it has been confirmed.
The bank revealed that only 19 customers had been using the branch on a weekly basis.
In recent years, the Lochwinnoch branch has been open for just 15 hours a week.
After the closure, customers will still be able to withdraw cash and check balances free of charge at the nearby Post Office.
The bank’s ATM will remain in the town.
A bank spokeswoman said: “We’ve advised staff and we’re writing to our customers to make them aware of the closure.”
