NORTH Ayrshire Foodbank can now be followed on a smartphone app that will allow locals to track the items the service is running short of.
The app is available for Apple or Android devices – search your app store for ‘foodbank’ and select the Redemption Media app. You can then locate North Ayrshire Foodbank by entering your post code.
The free simple to use app also gives news on supermarket collection events, fundraising events, latest news on the work of the foodbank and volunteering opportunities.
It is simple to use and is free.
The Foodbank is currently looking for a website administrator to ensure that the site is effective in communicating up-to-date information by updating the website weekly.
The role would initially require a commitment of a few hours a week, then just two hours when the site is up to date.
