WITH GP practices closing for the September local holiday weekend (Friday, September 19 to Monday, September 22) North Ayrshire residents are being urged to prepare to cope with any common health concerns.
Most pharmacies in North Ayrshire are open on Friday 19 September with the exception of: J & S Gallagher, 6 Central Avenue, Ardrossan Dalry Pharmacy, 18 Main Street, Dalry Gallagher Healthcare, 19 Dockhead Street, Saltcoats Gallagher Healthcare, 41 Hamilton Street, Saltcoats Gallagher Healthcare, 41 Glasgow Street, Ardrossan Gallagher Healthcare, 1 New Street, Dalry Gallagher Healthcare Ltd, 17/19 Raise Street, Saltcoats Gallagher Healthcare, 13 New Street, Stevenston Townhead Pharmacy, Station Plaza, Pennyburn Road, Kilwinning Most pharmacies in North Ayrshire will be closed on Monday 22 September with the exception of: Boots the Chemist, 77 Dockhead Street, Saltcoats, open 9am – 5.30pm Boots, 2A Dalry Road, Kilbirnie, open 8.30am – 6pm Red House Pharmacy, Lamlash, Arran, open 9am – 5pm The Bay Pharmacy, Shore Road, Whiting Bay, open 11am – 4pm (pharmacist available 1 – 2pm) Brodick Pharmacy, Arran, open 9am – 5pm If you need a doctor urgently and your GP’s surgery is closed, call NHS 24 on 111.
