‘LAUGHTER Fit’ classes are being launched in Ardrossan next month - with local charities set to benefit.

Run by Well Happy, the sessions are a way to improve physical and mental health, increase happiness levels, bring more fun and laughter into your life and meet new people.

The classes will include Laughter Yoga, which was developed 20 years ago in India and is now a global movement.

Those who take part can laugh without the need for jokes, comedy or humour and get all the health benefits including: Improved heart and circulatory health, lower blood pressure, increased endorphins (our happy chemicals), better creativity and problem solving, improved immune function protecting you from illness and disease, reduced sensitivity to pain and much more.

Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings at Ardrossan Civic Centre from 7-8pm, starting on April 7. The first Tuesday of every month will be ‘Charity Tuesday’.

The initial charity to benefit will be the North Ayrshire Foodbank, who will receive all the profits from the session.

To nominate your charity go to www.wellhappylife.co.uk/Charity-Tuesday or call 01294 461730. If your nominated charity is chosen, you will receive a Well Happy ‘Bag of Fun’.

Your charity will receive all profits from the session.

Sessions cost £6, or £4 concessions.
