AN ARDROSSAN woman will appear at court for sentencing after she admitted claiming more than £10,000 in benefits that she wasn’t entitled to. Jean Lorraine Ramsay, 47, of McDowall Place, pled guilty to failing to give notification of the fact that she was married and living with her husband between October 2012 and November 2014 and claimed £7,790.43. Ramsay also admitted claiming £6,550.25 in housing and council tax benefit between October 2012 and November 2014 which she wasn’t entitled to. Sentence was deferred until August 6 for a personal appearance of Ramsay.
