Can The Kandy Bar retain its World Champion Scotch Pie title this year?
SALTCOATS baker Stephen McAllister of The Kandy Bar is going for an unprecedented third win at the World Scotch Pie Championships next week.
The World Champion Scotch Pie 2017 will be announced on January 11 at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld.
Reigning World Scotch Pie Champion, Stephen, is hoping for another victory but wished all his fellow bakers good luck.
He said: “Taking home this prestigious prize last year meant the world to us at The Kandy Bar and since winning, our business has gone from strength to strength.
“I hope the 2017 winner has the same success as we have enjoyed in the last 12 months so good luck to all of those shortlisted on the day.”
