ARDROSSAN Winton Rovers stalwart Pat Breen Sr was presented with a special hospitality package to celebrate his 86th birthday.

Winton legend Pat has been involved with the club in one way or another for nearly 60 years and he continues to attend home games to support the club he loves.

The former secretary and club president is now retired from official club duty but enjoyed his day with family and friends, despite Winton losing for the first time in the league this season.

Club Chairman and son, Pat Breen Jr, said: β€œIt was a wee surprise for him. He got to enjoy his time with family including grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”

Pat Sr is pictured with his son (far right), nephew Peter Conway (far left) who was part of the Winton Rovers side who reached the semi-finals of the Scottish Junior Cup and Winton captain Ryan Caddis with his Annbank counterpart and the match referee. All the best, Pat from everyone at the Herald.
