STANLEY Primary pupils showed off their skills at last week’s Scottish Verse Speaking competition.

The event was judged by Angus Middleton, president of West Kilbride Burns Club.

Congratulations go to Julia Hogarth, the overall poetry winner, and Kate Davidson, the overall singing winner.

The singing winners were: P4 Jamie McGrath, P5 Holly Ballantyne, P6 Kate Davidson, P7 McKenzi Taggart.
