THE S4 Hospitality class at Ardrossan Academy produced a lunch with help from a local chef, all in the name of charity.
The class have been working with ex-pupil Darren Fisher, Chef at Garfield’s Tapas Bar and they designed, made and served a tapas lunch to staff on Wednesday, March 29.
They raised money for Ayrshire Hospice by selling tickets and holding a raffle.
The pupils worked really hard in the kitchen to prepare the top-notch food and they were excellent hosts. Staff really enjoyed their tasty tapas treat.
Many thanks from the school goes to Darren for continuing to support the school and thanks also to Gordon from Ayrshire Hospice who attended the lunch and collected a grand total of £115 for the charity.
Pupils involved were: Caitlin Muir, Callie Toner, Taylor Lundy, Linzi Rush, Chloe Gray, Sarah Rose Cairns, Xander Davis, Lewis Austin, Cameron Sharp, Robbie Burns, Brandon Lynn and Brian Patterson.
