SAINSBURY’S in Saltcoats was the place to be if you were raising money for Red Nose Day.
John McLeod had been growing his hair for five years and decided to take the plunge and get the chop for charity.
His locks were then generously donated to The Little Princess Trust. The charity makes real hair wigs for children who have lost theirs due to cancer treatment or other illnesses.
John was joined by bag packers from the 1138 (Ardrossan) Squadron, Air Training Corps to raise the funds on March 25.
Together they made a whopping £640 for the Red Nose Day Appeal.
