ARDROSSAN Bowling Club celebrated a milestone year at the weekend when they marked the opening of their 175th season.
And the sun was shining on the Kilmeny Terrace club as members and guests descended there to celebrate the special occasion.
The green was officially opened by Michelle, daughter-in-law of President Willie Hay, with members, guests from other clubs and elected members looking on.
A brilliant day of bowls with then took place with everyone enjoying a few refreshments in between before the tradition of watching the Grand National.
Everyone enjoyed an excellent meal and the speeches before settling down for a night of entertainment to round off a perfect day.
Photographer John Keachie was on hand to capture some of the play as well as President Willie with Honourary President David Houston and elected members and all of the club and female section past presidents who were in attendance on the day.
