GENEROUS pupils and their families from a Saltcoats school showed their support to one of their own pupils a number of fundraising events during Lent.

St Anthony’s Primary got behind little Holly McLeod when her family got the good news that she was accepted to travel to America for life-changing surgery to help her walk.

And they have raised a massive £8,500 with more events planned for after the Easter Holidays.

Their latest event was a Daffodil Tea and that followed on from the P1 and P1/2 Class circuits, Miss Dorrian’s Dancercise, P3’s Hidden Square, P4 and P4/5 Scottish themed day, P5’s shared breakfast, P6’s Guess the Bear, P6/7 Games Fair and the P7s Bake Sale as well as the Sponsored Bounce at the start of February.
