A GIG held in aid of the North Ayrshire Foodbank raised enough food to feed just under 140 families.
And the organisers from the Ardrossan Music Experience plan on holding more events in the future to support the charity.
Held in the Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club, there was no entry fee with patrons offering a bag of food instead.
Peter McNamara from the AME said: “We collected enough food for just under 140 families and we are going to do more food bank events throughout the year. We would like to thank all those who supported those in need in our community. The bands on the night were, Sonny Days and the Restless Knights and The Simon Bret Band.
