COSTA Coffee will be coming to Saltcoats after North Ayrshire Council approved a planning application from the retail giants.
The Herald reported recently that there had been an application to change the former Sullivan’s pub to become a coffee shop and the decision to allow Costa to move in was granted on Friday, April 21 by North Ayrshire Council’s planning department.
This comes after the coffee supremos recently opened shops in Stevenston, Irvine and Largs with this latest venture set to be housed in the former bar in the town’s Dockhead Street.
It is unclear at this stage how long it will take until the coffee shop opens.
